Mollycoddling with religious fanatics is a dangerous but
tempting option for the modern day Politicians. The latest example is Quebec
where the Premier Philippe Couillard has introduced a bill in the
parliament criminalizing the criticism of Islam. It seems that the ruling class
has decided to make Canada an Islamic haven in the Western world. Even critical
analysis of the primitive Islamic practice is to be forbidden. Therefore, next
time when the liberals lament about the genetic mutilation of Girls in Islam,
they should be ready for a barrage of law suits from the Ummah.
Conservative Muslim organizations are breathing down the
neck of the likes of Tarek fateh and secular Muslim congress to stop public
criticism of the religion. The rational to introduce bill 59 is ridiculous
because it is derived from the assumption that Muslim youth get easily
radicalized when they listen to scholars bantering their religion.
It is a negative thought process and suggests overlooking
the problem but what if the radicalization increases and even non-Muslims are
forced to walk in veils. It will be interesting how the reverend minister Philippe
Couillard would then respond? Probably he is too coy in front of the
supposedly combative minority organizations threatening Canada with dire
consequences if the bill was not passed.
If law 59 is the magic potion to de-radicalize Islamic
population in Quebec, it may prove be an absolute failure. The only way to
increase the space for liberals is to conduct public discourses because being
silent about a problem tantamount to being an accomplice in the ongoing Islamic
radicalization.
Government is pussyfooting with the real steps that need to
be taken to prevent the creation of Jihadi foot soldiers in the near future.
Extreme ideological sermons at mosques should be prohibited and violent
attitude discouraged at all costs.
People need to rise against the Sharia law 59 and give it a
thumping defeat to protect the country from radicalization and being hostage to
a minority.
